This is a new piece of art that I tried a different painting technique on. I did the whole painting in a greyscale version first and then glazed the colors on top. I feel it came out well but I’m still partial to the looser and thicker paint application that I’ve been experimenting with.

This art was fun to create. I worked closely with the editor and was able to read the whole manuscript prior to starting the art. I prefer to work this way so the art can be customized to the story. It also gives me a chance to add in my own little visual clues to the narrative.

A painting of Harrison Ford from the movie Bladerunner. I'm thinking of doing a companion piece of Ryan Gosling from Bladerunner 2049 to go along with this one.

Here is an interpretation of a mage creating ravens to do his bidding. Created for my MFA thesis gallery show. It is designed to work as an image for a fantasy trading card game.

I am working on several Fantasy paintings. This one shows a ranger who has stumbled onto a divination artifact. He uses an amulet to "light" the direction he must continue to make his way out of the dark forest.

I am currently working on a series of paintings based on the I robot book by Isaac Asimov. This one shows a robot that has come up with a religion through pure logic. It then goes on to spread the good word to all the other robots working on the space station.
I strive to stay faithful to Asimov's actual written words while trying to create an dramatic image that possibly adds some little visual touches from between the lines of the story.

I am currently working on a series of paintings based on the I robot book by Isaac Asimov. This one shows a robot saving an astronaut who has succumbed to the heat of the sun on Mercury.
I am trying to stay faithful to the actual written words while trying to create an image that gives a sense of the story without giving away too much. In this instance, I'm trying to show the robot coming to the rescue of a wounded human without giving away what or who hurt the astronaut in the first place.

This is another of my images from Isaac Asimov's book I Robot. This one tells the story of the love between a little girl and her nanny robot.
